The Berkshire Museum brought the museum experience to the Berlin community through its Mobile Museum Unit (MoMU).

Fun Facts: There are 3.5 Trillion fish in the ocean and Clown fish and Angel fish are real fish names!

A Mobile Museum Unit (MoMU) is an innovative, self-contained exhibition space designed by the Berkshire Museum. MoMUs are designed to spark curiosity through self-led discovery and hands-on learning.  A MoMU creates inspirational museum moments for all who encounter it.

When filled with art, natural science, and history items from the Berkshire Museum’s 40,000-object collection, MoMUs become fascinating miniature exhibits, each focused on a single topic.

Visit our StoryWalk® at the Berlin Elementary School after school hours. Read a picture book with your child while getting fresh air and exercise! It can be found on the walking trail next to the playground. Thank you to the BMHS' Community Active Mountaineers for their continued partnership with the library to make this resource available to our community.
