Events & Programs

Year-Round Programming

Did you know that the Berlin Free Town Library offers programming and events for the community, all year long?

These are just some of the wonderful opportunities you might enjoy, but for the most up-to-date information, please visit this page and our Facebook regularly for upcoming events.

Pie a la Mode Cafe

Held on the 4th of July

An annual tradition (which is a big favorite) is the Pie Ala Mode Café at Berlin Free Town Library on the 4th of July. You know you love our home-made pies! And we have some of the best bakers in the Valley. So come on down for the best selection. We will sell slices or whole pies before, during, and after the biggest parade you will see in Berlin. You can have your favorite slice or two with or without ice cream. Our price for a slice of pie is  only $3.50 or $4.00 if you want it topped with vanilla ice cream. Coffee and water available for $1. What a buy. This is a rain or shine event so bring the family, friends and neighbors with you.

Summer Reading Program

Summer is here and our sign up for the Summer Reading Program for youth and adults begins June 21st. This year’s theme is “Build a Better World.” We invite you to officially enroll at the library and also take a look at our program offerings on Tuesday & Thursday evenings beginning July 6th. Reading prizes will be awarded throughout the program. Stay tuned to Facebook for weekly programming events.

Club 47 Concerts

Club 47 — your town library re-imagined as a hip and cool performance venue — brought the community some wonderful live-music performances in 2016. If you missed these events, please have a listen below!
