The winners of the Berlin Free Town Library were announced on Friday, June 17. The contest, whose theme was “Art During the Pandemic,” was open to people of all ages.
The art contest recognized all forms of physical art, whether photographic, sketches, paintings, sculpture, fabric, collage. Art created anytime from March 2020 to the present day was accepted. It did not need to be pandemic themed, just created DURING the pandemic.
The Grand Prize of $100 was awarded to Irisa Baretsky for her painting entitled Paradise, which she described as “a place where you can go to forget everything.”

Second Place was awarded to Jessica Bosso for her painting, Lighthouse Sunset.

Third Place was awarded to Emma Charest for her painting, Dream State.
