Fine Free
BFTL is proud to announce that it is fine free library! This includes items borrowed from other libraries in UHLS. Fine free means there will be no be a late fines applied to your library card for returning library materials past their due date. Please note that failure to return library materials or damage to items will result in replacement fees. If an item that belongs to BFTL is lost or damaged, a replacement item will be accepted as long as it’s in new or like new condition. Any lost or damaged items belonging to another library must be dealt with promptly through the owning library.
Loan Periods for Borrowed Materials:
• New Books / 14 day loan, Regular books/ 28 day loan
• Audiobooks/28 day loan
• DVDs (must be 18 to borrow or have a parent or guardian’s consent ) / 14 day loan
• Music CDs / 28 day loan
• Downloadable ebooks and audiobooks / 14 day loan
• Online databases / unlimited loan period
• Free magazine swap at the library located next to the periodicals display
Family Board Games and Puzzles are also available to take home!
Blood Pressure Monitors-You can check out a blood pressure monitor for 14 days. Complete with a home health log which includes a place to record your readings. It is recommended that you follow up with your primary care doctor with the results.
*All materials will be auto-renewed for an additional loan period unless they have been requested by another patron.
