Story Hour
STORY HOUR

Join early childhood educator Susan Greenberg every other Saturday for stories, crafts and play. It's a fun hour for preschoolers (ages 2-5) and parents/guardians as well! Story Hour will resume during the Summer Reading Program.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM

The New York State Summer Reading Program is a free public library reading program for children and teens. Kids who join the summer reading program have the opportunity to read and share books with others and to join in activities, events and celebrations related to the reading program theme.

Studies have shown that children who continue to read during the summer months perform better in the fall when school resumes. Summer reading programs make educational reading activities fun and appealing. Public libraries across the state provide entertainment and recreation related to reading all summer long with the statewide summer reading program.
